Wow... re-establishes what I feel about BC Reds.... Joint venture between Vincor International Inc. and Château Gruaud-Larose (really Groupe Taillan). Osoyoos is the name of the location of the vineyard.

While a joint venture, I could swear that the wine was in fact French a bit forward and juicy but French in style.... I would've missed it by a continent

When I opened the bottle, it filled the room with red and blue berries. With a bit of air, it calmed down into an elegant drink with a decent amount of power, nice balance, good structure and nice acidity.
I would not have guessed BC Okanagan. Not overly complex but very nice drinking.

Sounds nice. Is this a Bordeaux blend? Also, if you don't mind my asking, what is the price?

Sorry about that...

Wine is a bordeaux blend and sells for $35-$40 CDN (which when I bought meant about $30 USD....now......ummm)

I've consumed 1/2 bottle already and it was coming after a glass of the Pesquera and it definitely stood up on its own.

Had this at Golf's in Regina the other night. Unfortunately the restaurant was very warm and so was the wine, so much so that every guy took off their jacket and rolled up their sleeves and the red went into an ice bucket for 30 minutes.

Fortunately this thing is sufficently robust enough to handle the abuse but I would not risk prolonged storage here.

We had the 2004 version which seemed to be a bit more restrainted than the 2003 but I won't go further than that based on the storage. Having said that, nice enough wine and went well with the steaks at the restaurant.
