'04 Pelee Island Winery Riesling Dry

2004 Pelee Island Winery. Riesling Dry. Ontario VQA ($12.XX Canadian). Alcohol level 11.5%. Another bottle brought back from our recent trip. We tried this one at the last dinner we had on the island and enjoyed it. Lovely bouquet of fruit headed by delicate peaches on the nose and upfront. Good substance in the middle, and a delightful finish. Matched it with unsauced sauteed Chicken Breast Parmesean, pasta in fresh tomato and basil sauce, and steamed snap peas. All veggies fresh from ours or other gardens. Nice Sunday night supper.
