I'm really not proficient enough to offer TNs but I would really like to share this. We found this vineyard while on vacation at Cape Cod. The vineyard claims to be the first on the cape. This meritage blend is a dry red aged in American oak but not too oaky. Blackberries layered with cherry. Full bodied with a silky mouth feel and a long, chocolate finish. Its 19 bucks, but I'm sure production was limited. IMHO, it was worth the price and worthy of the "Triumph" name. We thouroughly enjoyed this wine.

According to the gentlemen at the vineyard shop, the blend is dominant cab franc and merlot. He didn't tell us the repective percentages.

Cab Franc is what they grow the most of, so I suspect that's probably the major part of their wines.

I visited the Truro Vineyard, too--here's my post: http://www.wines.com/ubb2/Forum34/HTML/000069.html

Looks like we differ somewhat! Such is life. I don't remember the Triumph too well.
