The nose has some light citrus, balanced with a little oak and possibly sliced red apple. On the palate a bit more citrus, poached pear, and a touch of lemon grass. Some of the oak shows through on the back of the palate with a touch of cream (the cream being almost an afterthought). Nice balance to this wine. The body is somewhere between a reisling and a chardonnay. This wine also has a great mouthfeel as it coats every part of the palate. Hattie and I finished the bottle before dinner was finished cooking. OOPS
