So I get to post the first rose of the "summer" season huh

Pretty salmon color, Great Strawberry and mineral nose, Great density of flavours for a rose, good solid mouthfeel, nice attack on the palate. Nice complexity for a rose. Great balance and just perfect for a late summer outdoors dinner.... lasted exactly 24 minutes..... needed a second bottle of something that tasted no where near as nice.

Don't get out much anymore. We took in the entire wine and single malt inventory from another wine shop that closed late last week. So, we've been pulling long shifts trying to get all the stuff into inventory, off the floor, and on the shelves or up into the storage stacks. Anyway, when I finally got out last night it seemed a bit chilly, probably in the upper 50's.

I misread "mice" as "nice" (the intended word) and had to go back to see what prompted Duane's remark. Pretty funny.

Reminds me of when I tried to write a postcard in German to some German coworkers. I had the Salzburg guide look it over and I had said that the cousin (Vetter) was nice rather than the weather (Wetter).

Wow,

Classic! I wonder if the "Cousin" ever thought about coming over for a surprise visit
