Hector was a pup. Was putting gas in the truck this AM when a guy with a gas can came up and said he'd run outa' gas and needed enough to get to work. Witout thinking I said Okie-Dokie. Later on I realized that if he'd been panhandling I'd have given him some change or at the most a buck....Then it dawned on me. The Gallon cost me 4 Bucks!!! I'm going back in the AM and see if he's set up permanent shop. WW

Watch his other hand, WW.... the one NOT holding the gas can. We've had 'em run that same scam here in the past, but add a little extra juice.... the other hand will hold a butane lighter, and if the mark refuses to buy gas for the can, the perp will threaten to strike the lighter. Adds a little pucker factor to the rip-off.
