Hemingway once said turning a great novel into a screenplay for a movie was like "Pissing in your father's beer".

With that in mind, when it gets hot down here in Fla (it's in the low 80's and really sunny today) I like to take a good wine and add ice and either Sprite or ginger ale. It's cool and light and refreshing, and I love it. But I aways wonder what Hemingway would think about it.

Anybody else do this?

I like Sangria and I will own up to having enjoyed a few Arbor Mist in the past (the peach Chardonnay for one). Probably four or five years since I've had an Arbor Mist and I haven't ordered a spritzer in a restaurant since I lived in Germany (left there in '91).
