It's in the high 50"s here today. The kids are outside for lunch recess (Thank you, God) with no coats on. What a great day!

Minneapolis has been quite nice for this time of year too. I'll take upper 40s any day in late Feb. - early March.

Finally though, we had a real winter. It has been a few years since we had this much snow stay this long. It has come late and not lasted in recent memory here.

Hi Pinot. I have my only male child who, tho I seriously doubt his acumen, deigns to live there for the music scene. His son, with seemingly more active brain cells, is moving here this month. WW

WW,

I have to tell you, our winters really make a person appreciate the spring and summer. Being a native, my excuse is I do not know any better

But still, IMH (and slightly biased)O, I think this is really a nice place to live. Besides the music, the whole arts scene here is something to take in. We have great theater and museums as well. Then there are the 10,000 lakes... etc.

And as everyone welcomes people to the pages here, if your son arrives here, please extend my welcome to the Twin Cities.

Cleaned out the bluebird boxes this past weekend; sure enough, the couple arrived on time.

Now that snow recedes, puddles form for the coming mud season...

Got 3 out of 7 fig cuttings to take--so far.
