Back in June '68, another Lt took a pic of the kid during the A Shau Valley operation in 'Nam. He gave it to me in late July and it scared the bejeebers out of me.... at 6'3" and all of maybe 135 lb, looked like a dead man. So on 1 Aug, started growing a 'stache, just to dress up the corpse-in-waiting. Now 40 yrs & 80 lb later..... the 'ol mug still needs all the help it can get. Will break out sumpin' tonight.

I lost a friend at A Shau. So glad you made it back. You HAVE to make it to one of the offsites - maybe in the FL when WW comes back east next spring.
