Sorry to come back after a sabatical and read this, glad your OK. I too ride a scooter, 80 mpg around town. Top speed of about 30mph, like you, wear a helmet, people may laugh, but my brains hopefully will remain unscrambled! I try to stay off main roads because of idiots like this. I don't suppose he had auto insurance? That seems to be the problem with these types of f**ls around here. Also had a Honda in days gone by, '75 360T. it was fun for a small bike.

Opened a bottle of TJ from the spring shipment last night, never heard of it, not really sure what to expect, 05 Silver Reserve Lagrein.13.6%
Very dark in the glass, (almost petite syrah dark)Interesting nose, fruity, candied, and yet something different, not really petrol, but along that direction. Seemed pretty big in the mouth, with fruity flavors that seemed almost new to me. Finish was long and tannins evident. Matched with a thick loaded pizza. Seemed pretty good. Something a bit different for a change. WP

Oh man, I wish you a speedy and full recovery.

My TN's for the night, for your proxy pleasure:

Alverar's Montilla Fino. Nice and dry sherry, beautiuflly focused and clear as a bell. Hard to describe beyond that. Went perfectly with some Green Lucquene olives!

First time I came back to this.

I'm guilty of TWI. Terribly sorry. I'll attempt to write my notes or feelings and get back to it later. Thanks for letting this one through.

Dan, Hope you're doing well!

Just catching up with y'all after a while. So sorry to hear about your accident Dan. I've always thought that people have no idea how to drive a car with a motorcycle on the road. Happens all to often. Hope you heal quickly!
