2003 August Kesseler "R"

Was a steal... $9 locally.

Even for his lowest end Riesling, this as a dandy. Drier like a good classic Kabinett, but very crisp, very fresh still with a bit of the 2003 fat but tonnes of minerals, as if someone had tossed a few into the bottle. Great summer wine! If I had to choose between this and the Dr. Loosen "L" at $12, I would chose this but both are great for their price!
