Lizardbrains' hubby is on his way to Iraq for the third time as a Cobra pilot for the Marines. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. If any of you want to contact him, you can at:

Capt. Jeff Sykes
HMLA-169
Unit 42055
FPO AP 96426-2055

Liz, maybe you can post the kind of items hubby wants sent to him in care packages--tabasco sauce, tins of cookies, socks, whatever. Some participants on this board might deliver now and then (and the items could be shared with other Marines if he has a surplus) Keep up the faith. I just finished reading the book "Under the Sabers" about Army wives and the tough job they have but it also applies to Marine wives!
Oops, another smiley face that was unintended.

That is a tough situation. Stay positive. Thanks, IK, for providing the address. I think a class project is in order!

Yow, three deployments! God bless 'em both.

An old friend (Huey pilot) did four tours in 'Nam, another acquaintance (Marine) did five. One 12-month'er was enough for me.
