I loved to watch Buddy dance. Ok, now, show your age...raise your hand if you know all the words to the Beverly Hillbillies theme song!

and up from the ground came some bubbling crude....

Anyone remember Weird Al Yankovitch remaking the "Money for Nothing" video by Dire Straights as this song? Classic!

Sooey! Piggy, piggy, piggy......

My granddad on my mom's side was a pig farmer in Okrahoma. Killed by a tornado when I was five, but I still remember him calling those hogs and slopping them down. Kinda like WW at dinner.

Have to admit I never watched that show.... too close to home. I was born in Tennessee and raised in Texas (got here as fast as I could), and jokes about "hillbillies" (or Lollywood's version thereof) always struck me as extraordinarily condescending. Buddy seemed like a good guy, though.

Hmmm...sure your name ain't Davy Crockett there, Hotsie? Seems to run in my mind that he was born on a mountaintop in Tennessee and ended up at the Alamo....something mighty coincidental about you two...

Fess Parker, my girlhood hero. Ended up running a darn good winery.

Was it...

Born on a mountaintop in Tennessee,
