He passed on today from a massive heart attack at only 69 years, suffered while working out at his local gym. The best QB who ever played the game, IMO.

She's got us going to Racquetball & Fitness several times a week.....The sight of some of the young ladies there is enough to give any old goat a coronary.....

Makes you wonder if the guy was going to a doc for cholesterol checks, EKG, treadmill, etc. Granted, they are not foolproof, but better than nothing.

Saw him around town often and always a gentleman would say "How the HELL are you?" to all who paused to say hi.

Makes me suspect he wasn't, but haven't heard.

I've got my annual poke & prod next week. Can hardly wait......not! Brunhilde, doc's right arm, is probably wringing her hands in gleeful anticipation. She's my size (6'3" & 220) and loves to heap indignities upon the average Joe. Whatever happened to the sweet lil things who used to so faithfully serve the nursing profession? Haven't seen one like that in a long time. Now they all seem to be Amazons or great-grandmas. Neither group seems to have any sense of humor at all.

My dentist in New Orleans used to have a girl who looked like Miss Kitty from Gunsmoke in her prime (red head, green eyes, 38DD) who would clean your teeth after sticking her considerable (and heavily freckled) cleavage in your face and saying "Just keep looking at those and no one will get hurt"!!! I swear to God! Being the Big Easy, there was some speculation as to whether she had ALWAYS been a woman....

now gentlemen-
I used to work on people before I switched to animals ( animals don't say nasty things and often smell better). Think about the diverse clientele a nurse has to deal with on a daily basis. Gotta have a sense of humor- perverse as it may be. Also, some of us are still " little things", although the sweet part may be subject to debate !! WD

'Taint nuthin' sweet about a lil peanut with a hoss needle in her hand. As fer smellin' bad.... Bucko's givin' us all a bad name. Come to think of it, he's probably the reason the nurses now are all Brunhildes.... he's run off all the lil sweeet-peas and turned 'em into hoss whisperers....
