I thought I'd heard it all when a custmer of ours described Dal Forno Amarone as "a real dominatrix of a wine, it takes control of your mouth and gives it back to you when it's done with it" but Ol' Verne has a pithier line in his description on the Zin board of a new Dry Creek Primitivo di Sonoma that exhibits both charm and brawn:

"Kinda' like Ginger Rogers dancing with Godzilla"!!!!!!!
