Under $10 New Year's red

Hi,
We are looking for a few (two) good reds: cabernet sauvignon and merlot to serve with dinner at a New Year's Eve party for 30. We are having beef tenderloin, baby new potatoes, green beans, and salad with goat cheese, and baked pears with walnuts. I would like something (as good--and dry--as possible) for around $10. We need a I will by 2 cases, and thus can get a bit of a discount. We are on the East Coast, so those "hard to find" West Coast reds are probably out. Thanks.
