2000 Coudoulet de Beaucastel CDR

This is a big Cotes-Du-Rhone, second tier of Chateau de Beaucastel. Somewhat rustic and not all together right now, it seems to contain all it needs to grow up to be a proper CDR. Blackberry and raspberry flavors dominate with ample spice, gritty tannins and full body. Definately gonna buy more and lay em down. 13.5%Alc/vol. $22
