I picked up a bevy of 98 Rhones by Louis Bernard (Cotes du Rhone, CdR Villages, Gigondas and Chateauneuf). They all ranked high in the Speculator, and I got good prices, but I'm curious about the thoughts of some real people. I'm thinking I'll have a blind tasting dinner and see what happens.

There is a bit of a discussion in a 2-10-2001 thread in this forum entitled Cotes du Rhone Villages.

I've not found any Louis Bernard, but I have run across a Michael Bernard 1998 CdP and 1998 CdRV. Have not purchased the CdP, but the CdRV was pretty darn good at less than $9.00 a bottle from Geerlings and Wade.
