Hi everyone,
My wedding is coming up, and the caterer just e-mailed me some choices for the wines. Since I'm not really familiar with either wine, I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to offer me some advice?
The two wines (red) are Corbieres Moulin St. Jean and B.P. de Rothschild (I don't have any more info, like year). We're serving a game terrine, guinea-fowl lacquered with acacia honey and a gratin dauphinois, and watercress soup with chervil.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Sophie, and welcome to the Wine Board. Sounds like you are just looking for sit down and eat wines, and not walking around and sipping wines. I'm not familiar with the reds, but you should ask for the lightest one. You should also offer a white. An off dry riesling would work fine. You have many good Canadian choices from Ontario and B.C. If you caterer is hard on European wine, have him get a German Riesling Statlese.

If you desire some walking around wine, the red and white for dinner could work, but would be expensive. A shiraz and a chardonnay from Australia in the $18 Canadian price range have proved to be the most popular with a crowd.
