Wine with perogies?

What wine would go well with potato/cheese-filled pierogies and mushroom-filled pierogies?

hwalls, I eat em all the time. I like Shiraz and red Zins with potato/cheese and Syrah with the mushroom.

Ik, Drew is rite on. The potatoe/cheezies like the pure fruit of the oz style while the rhone-barnyard-forest floor character of the Syrah makes the character of the mushies live. WW
