Mader Gewurztraminer 2008

So this was the first Gewurztraminer I've ever had. I thought it was light and refreshing with a very floral nose. The taste was spicy with a little cantalope and grapefruit in the mix. There was a slightly lingering bitterness in the end that seemed like it would lend itself well to being an aperitif. I had this with spicy curried noodles and vegetables and thought it worked well.
