2007 sumac ridge gwertztraminer

Sitting in the Calgary airport AC lounge and there was a bottle of this sitting on the counter so popped and poured [img]http://www.wines.com/ubb/smile.gif[/img]

Very bright straw colour, pretty.Solid nose, very ripe, lychee, pomelo white rind. but on palate disappoints slightly. Round but quickly dispates to rougher and slighlty bitter...maybe its just my cold. Slightly alcoholic at end too.
