N/V Glenora, Brut, Sparkling Wine, New York ($10.99 Bremer’s of Utica). They produced it via the transfer method. Alcohol level: 12%.

A surprisingly rich and elegant slightly off dry wine, it gave delicate yeast and fruit flavors, enhanced by a lively effervescence.

We enjoyed it after Thanksgiving dessert of pumpkin pie and apple pie. It was a delightful ending for our festive meal.

Working off the case that we purchased the last time we were at Glenora. Lovely stuff. Seems to have lost some of its baby fat and some of the yeastiness but a very crisp and but still generous sparkler comes through. Blew many people away with where this comes from. Evidently not as sunny in desposition as a CA sparkler and much more balanced. Love this stuff!
