I'm going to propose to my Girlfriend tomorrow night (Friday) I have two bottles of bubbly and I don't suspect that I'll have sufficient time in the interim to stop by the store and get anything different.

Piper Heidsieck Brut

Perrier Jouet Grand Brut

I've never had either (I purchased them both on the recomendation of others) which would you choose?

Run like hell, and celebrate with the PJ. (Did I say that? Deny, obfuscate, dissemble, lie.... a la Clinton).

This is the night, so I guess I am a little late--it won't matter which wine you pour; she'll be excited (I hope) and you'll be unconscious...

I'm unable to comment on Hotwine's BBQ but as for the rest.

I'm happily engaged. And her thinking regarding a house and a wedding is much closer to mine than I had thought. This makes me even more pleased with the arrangement than I thought that I'd be.

The PJ was fantastic we both loved it. Is there anything particularly bad about the Piper? (Did I pay for more marketing than wine?)

She loved the ring.
