Okay...err...maybe.

For those of us living in the NorthEast, it has been a COLD AND WET summer, something WW knows nothing about. Having said that I'm not in the NE today.

Sitting in Milan today 90's temp and outside for lunch with a very chilled glass of Albarino. Don't know the brand, not sure of the vintage, only that it is recent, at least it tasted like it.

Wonderfully chilled, taking some of the bite of the temp, a bit floral, steely, lightly mineral, wonderfully crisp and light. Short but hey that what another glass is for, and another, and another,.....

Ahhhhhh summer has finally come....err....I've finally gone to summer!

What the blazes you talking bout there Eng? We had 1/16th of an inch last nite. Made for a perfect morning of exercise with the temps at 5:30 and a nice 94 and the relative humidity a comfortable 57%. That has to be one of them SWs'. WW

And to think that a year ago today I was in Provence eating every single meal on a patio or balcony or in a courtyard! To rub it in, at the tomato dinner last night the lady to my right had just returned Saturday from a vacation in Paris, Brussels and Bruges.

P.S. I have some Albarino to get to this summer as well as more German wines and Sauvignon Blanc wines and another Sancerre Rose' from Pinot Noir grapes.
