barrica 2004
Denominacio d'Origen
Produced and bottled by Cellar de Capcanes, Spain
synthetic cork 14% alcohol
"Donis is one of the Capcanes estates high up in the hills behind Tarragona where old vines of Garnacha (Grenache) and Syrah grapes grow in small plots. After a strict and careful vinification at our cellars in Capcanes the wine is aged in American and French oak for nine months."

Deep crimson to mahogany color, paling around the rim. Red fruits accent the nose and flavors. Oak treatment lends depth without sacrificing bright fruit. Nice!
