1999 Burnley Vinyards (VA), Zinfandel. Very nice light zin (10.5% alcohol). Beautiful garnet red to the eye. Quite fragrant with bountiful fruit upfront. Tannins as smooth as can be be, and a pleasant finish. Compared to the more widely distritubted Cline Zin, this one is lighter, more fragrant, and has a little more zip. The Cline shows more depth and complexity. The Burnley matched very well with oven barbequed country ribs and veggies.
