2002 Jessies Grove Westwind Old Vines Zinfandel

Here's another winner to seek out. Very dark black/ruby/purple not quite opaque but trying. Rich spicy and briary raspberry and black cherry flavors with port like nuances and hints of roasted coffee and toasty oak. Mouth filling and tongue grabbing fine grained tannins show themsleves on the long finish, showing just a tinge of heat. Very well made and one to seek out, imho. Should be dyn-O-mite in a couple of years. 15%Alc/vol. $19.99.
