Bottom-feeding at the discounter again: this juice is from Mendocino and 13.5% alc/vol. Subdued nose followed by brambleberries and blackberries on the palate, peppers and spice tip-toeing over the fruit en route to a rather short finish. Not very complex, but expectations were low for $6.99. With pizza, and not wishing to spend a Barbera.
