My wife had bought me for Christmas a bottle of the S.V. Merlot, and i realy enjoied it. She bought me another for our aniversery last month. Had it with a steak cooked on the grill last night. I had decanted it for about an hour before the meal was ready. However I was dissapointed, the fruit was not as prevalent, and was not as soft as I remembered.
We had some prety bad storms last night, so we were watching the weather chanel for a wile. Later on I was wanting some more of WW's popcorn w/Tabasco. Had some more of the Merlot with the PC. By now it had been decanted for about four hours, it had really opened up. The fruit flavors were there and had sofened greatly.
But it put me to sleep before the end of the race last night. Hate it when that happens.
