Rosemount Shiraz

I picked up a bottle of 1999 Rosemount Estate Bottled Shiraz for 9 bucks. I was curious if anyone had tried this wine and what they thought. To avoid a second posting, what would be a good food coupling?

A wonderful quaffable wine. Great for parties, and the price is right. For food, any normal or abnormal pairing for syrah/shiraz including, lamb, dark fleshed fish done up big time, eggplant dishes, and, in a pinch, steak.
