This is a pretty nice wine. Deep deep purple garnet color when first opened, nice density of thick berries (red and black) with a good dose of italian acidity. Nicely structured, solid serious wine, good fruit, abet a bit new world. While a lot there, it was not syrupy. Nicely went with a $49.
