Cracked one of three bottles last night at dinner with friends (4th of July celebration). Let it sit in a decanter for about 3 to 4 hours. I've had a lot of nice wines in the past but I had been saving this for a long time (It was given to me by my father in law a long time ago...before he passed away. We toasted to him). I'm pretty much a novice when it comes to describing wine but this was one of the best I ever had, It was like velvet on the tongue, so smooth. The flavors were very rich. I wanted to savor every taste. Anyway, just curious if any one knows where I can find a rating for this wine, what the bottle may cost if I were to find it today and if there is a chart somewhere on the web that may have vintage ratings. Thanks.

Welcome Getken. I only found a listing for a '83 selling at $136. Go here for the WA vintage chart.
