Big and fruity, black raspberry w good
tannin support. Powerful, but no fruit bomb. I'd say equal in power to
the Freedom Hill, but better balanced and more harmonious. Parker gave 94 points and I can see why.

Seven Springs is pretty tight. It used to be hard as nails, requiring 7-8 years to come around. The winemaker has eased up on later versions, thus more approachable early on. 98 is a dandy IMO.

I tasted one of their wines at a tasting a few weeks ago. Now that St. Innocent has opened up for weekend hours, I am going to make the hour trip down and taste some juice at their counter. (looking forward to it big time)
