1998 Chateau Les Cent Jours

Went shopping for daily drinkers today and my wine guy suggested this @ 3 for $18 (you do the math). Clear dark ruby with a nose of black currant, cedar box, and tobacco. Like flavors, good acidity and mild tannins with a solid 20 second finish. A merlot blend @ 12% Alc/vol. Very nice wine.

Hey, anytime I can walk out of a wine store, and not spend a few hundred smackers for a case, my wallet is pleased. I will watch for this as well. Gee, my shopping list sure is getting long today.....
