This 2nd wine of Pichon Lalande delivers a ton of stuff for the money. A Paullic with a core of red fruit, full-bodied and definately related to the great 2nd big boy. Has depth and substance to go with the spices, florals, and cigar box nose. This wine has a huge tannic background that needs at least 10 more to resolve.A finish that almost makes the 4&1/2 lapper level. An extremely well-made bottle of juice. Will evolve into one kick-patootie bottle. 91/94. 13.99 by the box en premieur. WW

Sounds delish....and inexpensive!

I can see the shelf cards at the liquor store: This is "one kick-patootie bottle"!
