2004 Chateau Lalande

This trip over to the pond, I've drank a lot of 04's from less expensive areas (such as this one). I've been actually very impressed. $ years in the bottle and these wines are showing very nice. Lighter in structure, more elegant, good balance but in all of them a nice, freshness that makes the wines a great accompanyment to say lunch! This one in particular was not different. Not particularly complex but nicely put together. Great balance.
