Looking for some Bordeaux advice. I am trying to find some reasonably priced ($60-75) Bordeaux for a wine dinner with some seasoned veterans. Any advice on some silent killers I can pick up? I really don't want to spend more than $80 per bottle. Ran across some Clos Dubreuil. Has anyone tried this St. Emilion Grand Cru? Any other suggestions?

Ready to drink top Bordeaux at that price would be fairly hard to come by but If your group doesn't mind drinking some younger wines you mite look into some of the 3rd-4th-or 5th growths from the outstanding 2003 vintage or even some of the 2nds from the 01 or 02 vintages. WW

The '02 leoville barton should fit comfortably in that price range and it is approachable versus the much more expensive 00's and 05's.

Plenty of good juice in the range though. 03 05 Destieux, 04 Pontet Canet, 01 Ch. Duhart Milon, 01 Clerc Milon.
