This was my 1st experience with this St. Emilion Grand Cru but sure as the blazes wont be my last.A blend of 66% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Sauv, and 15% Cab Franc this brite ruby jewel is loaded...Floral scents from violets to roses, sweet spices, leather, and a wee bit of the old sod all jump from the gklass. All come over on the palate along with dark chocolate and the very soft but strong tannins. Lovely entry, medium center and a solid 4&1/2 lapper finish. Still needs another 3-5 to finish but it is scrumptios rite now. 91/95 18 on futures. 13% alc. WW

Opened another of this lovely Grand Cru St. Emilion and this be some kick-patootie juice. Expressive nose that has flowers, red fruits and spice all wrapped up in a scintillating package. Great mouthfeel and the finish has really fleshed out. Now have buyers remorse for not ordering 2 or 3 cases on futures. Take it up a notch to 92. WW

Progressing beautifully. Nose has expanded in the last year showing more depth and has added some definative sweet spice like cardamon. Subtle, soft tannins are still there but aren't intrusive. Killer finish that has been there and done that. Can't say enough good things about this lovely bottle. No change in scoring. WW

Another with lunch yesterday. Pure hedonistic pleasure. Nose is really developing. Like walking into Moms' flower garden along with cinnamon scented toffee inyour hand. Time to kick this juicy bit up to a solid 93. WW
