Nice wine but completely outclassed by the Pavie.

No where near ready yet and I suspect that might be a short peak, not sure why. Showing some age, opaque, nose with some smoke, berry, cassis, tobacco, spices and coffee. Good complexity, drinking more advanced than the Pavie. I'm sure that it is a great bottle but my glass did not go back for more.

Loads of difference in the 2 vintages. 2-Grand was one vintage I bought heavily. Haven't found a dud in any of the offerings yet and looks like it'll be awhile 'afore I get on with it. WW
