Dark fruit (blackberrry or dark cherry), musky earth, oak and spice on the nose. Same on the palate, but with a lot more of the musk and spice with less of fruit. Very strong acid and tannin.

I have a few bottles of it and it should develop over the next few years.

I opened one of these a few months ago, and was not impressed. I don't know, maybe I just got a bad bottle. I also have an 88' in the cellar which I have not tried yet. Perhaps I shall have to do some more homework with this one. Thanks Barnesy!
