I've just returned from Bordeaux and purchased 2 bottles. However, for the life of me, I can't remember/distinguish between the two unless I opened it up - which I don't want to do for awhile. Can someone help distinguish between the two for me? Which is worth more (I paid ~2x more for one than the other) and what they're worth here in the States?

1. 1996 Chateau Longoa Barton, Saint Julien
2. 1990 Beau Site Haut Vignoble, Saint Estephe

Walnut8 , Welcome to the board. I take it you mean Langoa Barton. It and Leoville Barton are owned by Anthony Barton and produce some fine wines. The Leoville is normally the better wine, but in some vintages the Langoa comes out well The Beau Site is a minor player in St. Estephe. I`ve never personally tried the wine, but love the region in general. I Imagine the Langoa is the superior wine. Winoweenie
