Another great vintage for Newton Chard. I've been on the bandwagon since 02 and bought as much as I can afford each vintage since. This one was no slouch with excellent fruit, some toasted caramel, and just the right touch of oak. Went well with apps. on Christmas.

Carolina Wine Company is having a sale on the 2003 Newton Unfiltered Chardonnay. I deleted the e-mail so don't know the price but I think it was at quite a savings. You may not be able to order from a retail source in another state however and there is the shipping cost.
