Took over a bunch of 97s all costing under 50 bucks and 6 other couples and child-bride and moi had a 2 nite tasting , eating, drinking , and half-#@$^% evaluation of these suckers. The wines are listed with first the price, and then the average scores and the average of what all thot the wines would be after 10 years.There were some pretty knowledgable winers there and some of my friends who just like to drink. So witout further ado here we go;

Arrowood....40.....90/94
Barnett Sp. Mtn...49.....89/92
B.V. Rutherford....16....88/90
Beringer Knights Valley...22.....89/92
Beringer Alluvium.....29....91/94

Dominus Napanook....40...88/90

Justin Isosocles....42...92/95

We're gonna' do the K's on down my next trip. This is merely the opinions of a group of people who were havin' fun and shouldn't be taken as gospel but I think if'n I remember any-wheres' near as it be, the scores are fairly close.And by-the-by WITHSTANDERS OF THE WORLD, not one of the guys there spit out a drop. I drizzed a lot one my chin but a swipe of the ole' sleeve took care of it. WW

I guess it is safe to say that the sabatical is over? My gosh! If I tasted all those wines at one gathering.... after about the first dozen I would be too drunk to tell the difference! Come to think of it.... nah.... too easy....

Still, thanks for the heads up.... I will be doing some serious shopping next month.

WC, Read more closely....Over a TWO nite period, 14 people, About 2 ounces per bottle,and in total slightly more than a bottle per person. Must admit I snatched a lot of the over-flow, non spoken for juice so I was adequately pleasured at the end of the nite. With all the great snacks and pleasant company it wasn't a strain atall! WW
