The "Big Boy " at lunch today. Seamless. Nose like the proverbial candy-store. After 30 minutes in the glass this lil' sucker started strutting its' stuff. Cassis, brite cherry, deep plums, with a scoch of currants and cinnamon. Silky entry, solid center and the proverbial 5-lapper finish. 97/95. 85 at issue. 189 today. 14.5% alc. Kick-Patootie juice. WW

Jes' so happens had it at lunch today WOW with a friend. Intense brite ruby. Solid nose of cassis and a component I could only describe as either dill or mint. As this was a funsy get-together I really didn't concentrate on the wine other than noting a solid 4&1/2 lapper finish. A very solid wine that I'll review in depth on the next bottle. A solid 90/90. 45 on issue. WW
