Brite medium ruby. Lovely nose of red fruits, flowers, spice and pencil shavings. Solid entry, weighty center and a 4+ lappeer finish. Great effort in this vintage. 90/89. 40 by the box. 13.9% alc. WW

Had another for Dinner last nite. Nose has expanded and seems to be more polished and integrated. Lovely entry, solid center and the finish almost got to the 41/2 lapper but fell just short again. Enough silky tannins to carry this for 1-3 to peak. REALLY solid effort for a 98. No change in scoring. WW
