OKAY!!! So I lied a teenasy bit. Saw this sucker whilst looking for something else and said "Y-Not?. Medium deep ruby. Loads of plummy fruits on the nose with spicy notes, cassis, pencil shavings, and a bramly essence found in most mountain fruit. All transfer over on the palate along with highlites of brite sour cherry notes. A well-made wine that shows breeding.
Will need ano9ther 1-3 to fully resolve some fine-grained tannins. Solid effort.90/91. 43 by the box. Bob doesn't post his alc. WW

Sounds really good, but for the pencil shavings. Never having eaten, tasted, or inhaled pencil shavings meself, I wonder how many people have. I have smelt them, however, and have noticed that faint aroma in CS sometimes.

Man, your up early this AM Bubba...sorry I missed your calls yesterday. I get the cedar sometimes with cabs and with the addition of graphite that equates to pencil shavings.

Opened another last nite for din-din. The fruit has become more refined with the additional time in bottle and now there's a note of bakers cocoa that adds complexity. Lovely juice but no upgrade on scoring. WW

Last of the Mohicans. Decided to have this whilst watching the Saints beat up the Colts. The nose has expanded and this baby's as good as it can possibly become. Probably peaked 1-2 ago but has held solid as the ice on Drews' driveway. Perfect compliment to Brees pitching. Congrats to the Saints. They dismembered my beloved Cards on the way so I rooted for them to go the distance. Exciting game. WW
