1998 Geyser Peak, Cabernet Sauvignon, Block Collection, Vallerga Vineyard, $35, 1,964 cases. Deeply colored and aromatic, with obvious cassis, berry, tobacco and cedar notes. Lush on the palate, with silky tannins, the blackberry fruit and cassis notes delight the palate. Good value.
