I just cracked my first one and all I can say is wow. Great stuff and an amazing value. If I tasted blind I would have guessed it to be a $40 wine minimum. Thanks WW.

2 cases ?!?! Curious, ww, how long for holding time? I found this very fruit forward with low-med tannins at best. I didn't think that it would go more than 3-5. Good stuff.

ok. my case finally came in friday and i picked it up that night. a bottle has been standing upright on my kitchen counter ever since. i'm dying to try this. i'm thinking that since it's young and fruit-forward, it's probably recovered nicely already and sediment isn't an issue. WW, do i *really* need to wait a whole week to pop it? can't i cheat a little? wine appreciation is showing me the benefits of being patient, but i go kicking and screaming along the way.

I'd cheat. You always have 11 more. My first wasn't a week and it was fantastic.

Ordered a case today but have little confidence in the rip-off artist retailer. He says it will be in the shop by Friday. We'll see. If he delivers, will order more.

I tasted the 815 in NYC. It was quite good. I like it when I find an under $20 Cab without many obvious faults.

I know the fruit from the wine comes from Napa, Sonoma, and Lodi.

picked upa bottle today for 14.99. I'll drink this one within the next 3 days and return with some tasting notes. I was excited to find this for under $15 after reading such high praise.

My oh my, what a loverly jug o' juice! Opened our first tonight to accompany beef stew, baby carrots and boiled cabbage. A major hit with both of us. Much appreciate Gott's use of the fruit, not overpowering at all, and judicious oak. A finely-crafted wine! Tempted to open a second bottle, but trying not to be greedy. Even the 13.9% alc/vol seems subdued and fully under control. Many thanks, WW!

Finally popped it open last night. Wow, I can't believe how well balanced this wine is. Great fruit, nice full body and a gorgeous finish. The lady loved it as well which means I can buy this in bulk without any issues. Thanks for the heads up.

Now to try their Zin...
