with gravey, mashed taters and green beans.

We are having this Sunday for our daughters birthday. Just wanting others opinion of wine to pair with this meal.

The two that I have on hand that I think would be good are, Pinot Noir and Zin. I do not think that a Cab. would be a good match.

You might also try a Crianza. The Palacio de Sada is a blend of cab, merlot and tempranillo that works very nicely with beef, and is all of about $10.

Thanks for the replies. I have never had an Argentina Malbec before, so I thought I would try it.

Picked up a Finca Flichman Malbec Reserva Mendoza, $9.99 at Total Wine. IK you were right on with this recomendation. Matched perfectly with the meal and especialy the mushroom gravey and country style steak. Thanks!
